Welcome to the Halibut Fishing Capital of Alaska

Our boat, the Belle Ile, is a 31’ Sportfisherman made by Bertram. We take a maximum of six people.

In a report in Soundings Magazine: “The 31 has become a benchmark both in terms of seakeeping ability and rugged fiberglass construction. It has a reputation from the start as a boat that will take you out and bring you back.” (Soundings, May 1994)

She has twin 350 hp Yanmar Diesel engines. The Belle Ile cruises at 30 knots making it one of the fastest boats in Homer. This means less time traveling to the halibut grounds and more time fishing.

The Belle Ile is equipped with radar, GPS, VHF radio, CB radio, depth finder, life jackets, life raft and all Coast Guard required safety equipment.

We use Shimano Tiagra reels and custom made Cal Star rods.
